Rome High School

Great News! 42 AP Scholars Announced

Rome High announces that 42 students were named AP Scholars by the College Board for their performance on the Advanced Placement (AP) tests for 2012. The 42 AP Scholars is a new record for Rome High School.

Rome had 28 students named AP Scholar, 10 students named AP School with Honors and four students named AP Scholar with Distinction. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the teachers of the AP classes and the students that took the challenge of the most rigorous courses at our high school.

A total of 329 AP tests were taken at Rome High last year by 192 students. The number of tests taken was a 66% increase from 2011. This current school year, 2012 - 2013, there are 629 AP classes being taken by students at our high school. Could a new record for the number of AP Scholars be reached again at Rome High in 2013?

Please find below the students who were recognized as “AP Scholars” in 2012 by the College Board for their outstanding performance. Congratulations, Students, and Go Wolves!
